While in Oaxaca, Mexico, Jessie Leider began to work with Digital Phantoms (V. Gray) on a set of demos for live performances. Those demos eventually turned into a set of co-written songs reflecting their differing perspectives on music but finding common ground within a range of styles: bossa, folk, post-rock, and pop. Each song meditates on the unfinished story of itself, in and out of tune.
